What HARRISO collects when you browse or order, why we hold it, who we share it with, and how to get it removed. Written to be read, not to hide behind.
Who we are

What we collect
- Order details: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone, the items bought and the payment status. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider, never stored on this site.
- Account details: if you create an account, your email, hashed password and order history.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited and cookies needed for the basket and checkout to work.
- Messages: anything you send through the contact form or by email.
Why we hold it
- To take payment, deliver the order and handle returns, which is performance of a contract.
- To answer questions and provide support, on the basis of our legitimate interest in serving customers.
- To keep accounting records for six years, as UK tax law requires.
- To send order updates by email. Marketing email is opt-in only.
Who we share it with
Carriers and freight partners (name, address, phone, order contents), our payment provider (payment data), our hosting and email providers (technical data), and HMRC or a court where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records: six years. Account data: until you delete the account. Contact messages: two years. Analytics: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email support@harriso.shop and we reply within one month. If we get it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the basket and checkout working. Analytics cookies are only set where the law allows, and you can block cookies in your browser without losing the ability to order by phone.
